The Hays County Diabetes Coalition wants you to do well and be well for the upcoming holiday season, so they invite you to attend the Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes class series on Tuesdays, 6-8 pm, on Nov. 18, 25, Dec. 2, 9 and 16. DWBW focuses on how you can better manage diabetes through nutrition and physical activity. No doctor's order is required. Click here to see the promotional flyer. The next meeting of the Hays County Diabetes Coalition is set for Wed., Oct. 8th, at 10 am, at B&J Pharmacy in San Marcos. We will continue plans for the Nov./Dec. Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes class as well as planning for future educational efforts. Anyone interested in diabetes education is welcome to attend.
CTMC will host their Diabetes Support Group in their Community Classroom. The purpose of the support group is to gain support, meet other people dealing with the same condition and advance education about the disease.
