Diabetes Education Class Series

If you have type 2 diabetes, the Hays County Diabetes Coalition invites you to their next Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes class series on Tuesdays, 6-8 pm, on March 24, 31, April 7, 14 and 21 DWBW focuses on how you can better manage diabetes through nutrition and physical activity.  No doctor's order is required.  Click here to see the promotional flyer.  If you are interested in learning more about the class, click here and add your name and contact info.  Carrie Standlee, Wesley Nurse, will then contact you with more details.

Diabetes Coalition Meeting

The next meeting of the Hays County Diabetes Coalition is set for Tues., March 3rd, at 10 am, at B&J Pharmacy in San Marcos.  We will continue plans for the March/April Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes class as well as planning for future educational efforts.  Anyone interested in diabetes education is welcome to attend.

CTMC will host their Diabetes Support Group in their Community Classroom.  The purpose of the support group is to gain support, meet other people dealing with the same condition and advance education about the disease.
