Diabetes Coalition Meeting

The next meeting of the Hays County Diabetes Coalition is set for Tues., December 1, 2015, at 10 am, at B&J Pharmacy in San Marcos. We will evaluate the October/November class and make plans for 2016. Anyone interested in diabetes education is welcome to attend.

Another Great Resource: the Central Texas Diabetes Coalition...

...is a collaboration of public health and community agencies working to improve diabetes prevention and control in Travis County and surrounding counties including Hays County. The Coalition mobilizes community partners to increase access to diabetes self-management and prevention resources, and facilitates policy and environmental changes that lead to healthy lifestyles. Participation is open to all organizations and individuals with an interest in diabetes prevention and control. Meetings take place on the 3rd Monday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Terrazas Library, located at 1105 E. Cesar Chavez St. in Austin.
