2nd Saturday Screenings at HEB

All HEB Pharmacies host health screenings on the 2nd Saturday of each month between 9:00 am and noon. Among the FREE screenings is Blood Glucose. Click here to find out more.

Another Great Resource: the Central Texas Diabetes Coalition...

...is a collaboration of public health and community agencies working to improve diabetes prevention and control in Travis County and surrounding counties including Hays County. The Coalition mobilizes community partners to increase access to diabetes self-management and prevention resources, and facilitates policy and environmental changes that lead to healthy lifestyles. Participation is open to all organizations and individuals with an interest in diabetes prevention and control. Meetings take place on the 3rd Monday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Terrazas Library, located at 1105 E. Cesar Chavez St. in Austin.
